Terms and Conditions of privileges for AEON-UnionPay Platinum Card

  •  The privileges are reserved for AEON-UnionPay Platinum Card customers (“Cardholders”) which card are issued by AEON Thana Sinsap (Thailand) Public Company Limited (“The Company”).

    Conditions of cashback

    • Get 3%cashback when spending in China by using CNY currency or in Hong Kong by using HKD currency, or in Macau by using MOP currency, or in Taiwan by using TWD currency and get 1% cashback when spending in Thailand by using THB currency only.
    • The Company shall calculate cashback from credit card spending (excluding transaction from mutual fund, life/non-life insurance under Merchant Category Code 5960, 6211, 6300, 9223, installment payment, personal loan and hire purchase, cash advance withdrawal, Foreign Currency Exchange, interest and credit usage fee, penalty, fees and taxes as well as cancelled or returned goods/services.
    • The billing cycle of credit card accounts is on 11th of current month until 10th of next month. The transaction of supplementary card (if any) will be calculated into a primary card account.
    • The spending amount to be used as the basis for calculating cashback will be the amount after calculation of foreign currency conversion risk on the transaction records date.
    • The Company will rebate cardholder the cashback into the primary card accounts within 90 days after the end of billing cycle (every 10th of month). In case there are non-receive of cash back, cardholders shall inform The Company within 30 days after such period ends and in case of incorrectness of cashback, please inform the company within 30 days from cashback receiving date.
    • The maximum amount of cashback is THB 3,000 /primary card/billing cycle (Maximum THB 36,000/year). All transactions incurred by the Supplementary card shall be calculated as part of the Primary card.
    • The Company reserves the right to cancel or revoke or charge back all or some of cashback benefit if the company found any fraud, actions that illegal laws or related regulators such as Bank of Thailand (BOT) including claim for damages from Cardholders.
    • The Company reserves the right to prevail of reference from the company’s data. Cardholders have to keep sale slip when the company requests the evidence, otherwise the company will be deemed that data is correct.
    • This privilege cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotions.
    • This privilege is not transferable or convertible to cash or other privileges.
    • The Company reserves the right for active cardholders with payment history in good standing under the Company’s criteria and comply with terms and conditions until the date the cash back is credited into the credit card account.
    • The Company reserves the right to change the terms or conditions by giving notice via aeon.co.th, in case of dispute the Company's decision shall be final.

    Conditions;
    • Complimentary access to any Miracle Lounge at Suvarnabhumi Airport and/or Don Mueang International Airport, two (2) times/year.
    • The Cardholder must present a voucher and a valid Boarding Pass for a domestic or international flight with his/her AEON-UnionPay Platinum Card. One voucher per visit per person for the Primary cardholder only.
    • The Cardholder is entitled to bring one companion into the lounge.

    • In case of flight irregularity/disruption may occur, the Cardholder has already accessed a Miracle Lounge whereby the visit has already been recorded may not re-enter to the lounge.
    • The voucher cannot be transferred or exchanged to cash.
    • If the voucher is lost or damaged, whether by any reasons, the company reserves the right not to issue replacement voucher in all cases.

Travel Accident Insurance

    A travel Accident Insurance coverage of up to Bath 31,000,000 is provided free of charge just when you swipe your card for your fare full price. The Insurance also covers your spouse and children (below 21 years old) In the event of a travel-related accident.

    Summary of Program Coverage
    Policyholder AEON Thana Sinsap (Thailand) Public Company Limited
    The Insured Cardholders of AEON-UnionPay Platinum Card issued by the Policyholder, and their family (spouse and child/children).
    • Cardholders means the holders of AEON-UnionPay Platinum Card, issued by the Policyholder, with the card being valid and in good standing at the point of any claim. 
    • Spouse means a legally married insured spouse, and/or a person named in the policy schedule as a companion. 
    • Children means Insureds unemployed and unmarried child/children (including legally adopt child/children) is not over the age of twenty-three (23) years and wholly dependent on the insured of the financial support.

    Product Travel Accident
    Coverage Eligibility Any Oversea or Domestic trip in which the Insured’s travel costs, including but not limited to airfare and accommodation, are charged to their AEON-UnionPay Platinum Card, Issued by the Policyholder.
    • Domestic Trip : Any holiday or journey for business or pleasure made by you from your residence to a destination in Thailand at least 100 km. from your residence during the period of cover. The period of any domestic trip may not exceed 30 consecutive days, but may be not extended if you are unable to return to your resident due to an event that is covered under the policy. You will only be covered for a domestic trip in which your travel costs, including but not limited to airfare and a minimum of two (2) nights of pre-booked accommodation, are charged to the AEON-UnionPay Platinum Card, Issued by the Policyholder.
    • Oversea Trip : Any holiday or journey for business or pleasure made by you from Thailand to an overseas destination during the period of cover. The period of any overseas trip may not exceed 60 consecutive days, but may be not extended if you are unable to return to Thailand due to an event that is covered under the policy. You will only be covered for an overseas trip in which your travel costs, including but not limited to airfare and accommodation, are charged to the AEON-UnionPay Platinum Card, issued by the Policyholder.
    Activation Call Not required. Coverage is automatic whenever you pay travel cost with your AEON-UnionPay Platinum Card.
    Geographical Coverage Domestic and Overseas countries except counties which specified as excluded countriesin the schedule of the policy.
    Carrier Means commercial airlines, cruise, train or bus that licensed from of transportation for fare-paying passenger (excluding van, taxi, motorcycle and rental car)

    Note - travel on low cost carrier is covered.

    Terms and Conditions of Airport Limousine Service

Please select your service reservation city, cardholders need to provide the following details for service reservation: Guest Name, Contact Number, Total Guest No., Served City, Date, Route (to/from airport/high-speed railway station), Requested Car Type, Meeting Location and Time, Flight No. or Train No.
    7. For cancellation: A minimum of 24 hours' advance notice should be given for cancellation. Any late notice for cancellation is not acceptable. Please call DragonPass Hotline: 4008821111 (overseas: +86-20-3231-1919) to make the cancellation.
    8. For amendment: A minimum of 24 hours' advance notice (Oversea Service) should be given for amendment. Any late notice for amendment is not acceptable. Amendment is only for the order that price doesn't change. If the amendment asks limo service at night, changing type of limo service or extra pick-up/drop off points, cardholders need to call DragonPass Hotline to cancel the order and then start a new booking on Limo service page specified by UnionPay.
    9. Cardholder will receive service confirmation message via SMS in one business day after successful payment and details for driver and plate number will be sent via SMS on the reserved date for the service.
    10. DragonPass provides the following car types of limousine services for cardholders to choose from: Comfort-oriented Limousine (capacity: 3 persons): Volkswagen Passat, Toyota Camry, Honda Accord, etc. Business Limousine (capacity: 5 persons): Buick GL8, Nissan Elgrand, etc. Deluxe Limousine (capacity: 3 persons): Mercedes E series, Audi A6L, BMW 5 Series, etc. Please check the limousine car type on service date; suppliers have the right to drive other cars to replace (same as limousine service car type as cardholders order)
    11. Limousine service refers to luxury transportation to/from airport/high-speed railway station; however, routes couldn't beyond one city. Any extra pick-up/drop off points will cost CNY 50 /each. Late notice for extra pick-up/drop off points will not be accepted. If cardholders require limo service between 0:00am and 6:00am, extra CNY 100 will be charged.
    12. Drivers shall arrive at the meeting location in advance to wait for the customer; the waiting time is as following. For Pick-up Service, the waiting time will be 1 hour from Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA). Waiting time wouldn't be accounted for force majeure. For Drop-off Service, the waiting time will be 15 minutes after the scheduled time for the service. Any late show-up from the customer, the service will be cancelled and the fee will not be refunded.
    13. For refunding: Fee will be totally refunded if cardholders notice cancellation 24 hours before service date. Any late notice beyond 24 hours is not acceptable and service will be charged as normal.
    14. Program and services are only valid under this terms and conditions, and redeem by cash or any transfer is not allowed.
    15. Cardholders could leave an email address to require invoice. DragonPass will send the service invoice to the appointed email address within 5 business days.

    19. Customers and their guests must follow all club, establishment usage rules including limits of access to use club facilities as applicable to Green Fee players.
    20. To the fullest extent permissible by law, each participating customer releases UnionPay International and Quadruple Pte Ltd from any claim, loss, damage, cost or expense (including any claim for legal expenses) sustained or incurred by him/her in connection with his/her participation in the Program.
    21. UnionPay International and Quadruple Pte Ltd do not underwrite or warrant the services performed by the golf courses and shall not be liable in any manner whatsoever for any deficiency, delay or imperfection in such services or for any loss or damage that may be suffered, or for any personal injury to a Customer directly or indirectly by use or non-use of the services provided by the golf club under this Program.
    22. Customers and their guests shall be required to pay for caddy fee (wherever applicable), insurance and hire of equipment directly at the club, as per applicable rates prescribed by the respective golf clubs.
    23. Any individual applying/activating/ using the Program is deemed to have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions governing the Program and as may be amended from time to time.
    24. Booking will be processed on a best effort basis and UnionPay International does not assume any responsibility or liability for booking requests which are not confirmed due to any reason whatsoever.
    25. Tournament dates at courses are blackout dates and no bookings shall be available during these dates.
    26. This Program is valid for golf course access only to individual golfers and is not valid for any Group Bookings, unless specified so.
    27. UnionPay International, Quadruple Pte Ltd and participating establishment(s) reserve their absolute rights to alter/ withdraw any of the terms and conditions of the Program at any time without prior notice to the Customer.
    28. It is mandatory to make a minimum of 2 ball bookings on weekdays and 3 ball bookings on weekends, failing which the booking may get rejected by the respective golf clubs.
    29. All cancellations must be made at least 3 days prior to the date of play, else the slot will be considered as utilized and is non-refundable.
